This week was different from what the schedule said however... It was so much fun!
This week some moon jars were made for us to carve out our own designs on. They were made of soap that smelled like honey. ( I think it was honey... in any case they smell really nice!)
We would etch our own designs into this soap, which was actually quite difficult by the way... and into the grooves we had made put in some paint ink of a red or blue colour. This made the design stand out much more than it did as just a carving. Seeing everyone's individual designs was fantastic, it showed all of our creative streaks and interests from one rather different blank canvas. Also, because it was something we each only had ONE of, we knew we had to make it good on our first time so everyone was taking their time and thinking really carefully about what they were doing.

Flying bird dragon thing
I have no idea what this design actually is but i thought it looked cool and less intimidating than the dragon one nearby. I think I may have been the only one in the class to actually copy one of these works because they were so complicated but the rest of the class still produced as much complexity in their own designs.

It was a messy process
I turned myself into a smurf. My hands were actually blue, so so blue. When i went to wash them we were out of soap ( or so I thought). It was only after we got back to the room that we realised the big statue in the toilets was made of soap and was to be used. it was really cool though, how could you use it for soap?!

From another angle
So this was my piece. It was difficult like I said but I quite liked it ^^ This is only the front though on the back i had written my name in hangul.
Wooo~ can you read it? with my other homework to help you? Give it a go~
As you can see there is something written in the top, lets have a look at what it says...

K-POP ACADEMY 4 2013
Yep, It says that. For me, it's a memory. Something I wish to remember because now we are coming to the end of our course and I really don't want it to, so I am going to keep my memories safe and when I look back at them again I can remember the amazing times I've had throughout the course :)
Again this was a really fun week, if you get chance to try this and don't mind things getting a bit messy then give it a try! Don't wear black though, dear dear... please DON'T WEAR BLACK! xD
